~At Wolf River Wines, our journey has been supported by the generosity of amazing people providing us with grapes or opportunities for grapes and tons of education, each with its own story to tell. Since our beginnings in 2013 with a small batch of Petite Sirah from Limerick Lane, we have had the chance to play with creating Syrah from Sonoma Valley, Cabernet from Moon Mountain and Kenwood, Petite Syrah from Healdsburg, Petit Verdot from Sonoma Valley and\u00a0 Pinot from the Petaluma Gap; oh and the Super Tuscan with those big clusters of\u00a0 Sangiovese and the Bristol Hill with its Meritage of Cab, Merlot and Cab Franc. Talk about old school; what an education collaborating since 2005. Each variety enriching our winemaking adventures. It is this incredible spirit of sharing that has fueled our passion and creativity, reminding us that the essence of great wine lies not just in the grapes, but in the connections we forge along the way. We are deeply grateful for all that has been and look forward to continuing this journey crafting wines and the “cheers” with those that love it too!<\/p>\n

From our\u00a0 initial beginnings …. hand de-stemming grapes from Limerick Lane in the garage…. the journey of Wolf River Wines has grown into a crazy adventure; lugging bins and weighing them on the home bathroom scale, hauling bins of berries in a ricketty cart to the back yard to dump into the destemmer. Another round of carboys with juice to the shed. Each year, as we gather more grapes and refine our process, our home has transformed into a winemaking headquarters, with equipment finding its place in every room, from the corker in the dining room, the destemmer in the living room to the press beside us at dinner. The transmission parts storage shed\u00a0 turned into a climate-controlled haven for barrels and bottles. It is an adventure that embodies the spirit of collaboration and the joy of savoringand sharing\u00a0 every drop of our collective effort.<\/span><\/p>\n
